LAROCK, the festival that brings together people, bands, and shared passions, is getting ready to open the gates of the Cantacuzino Estate in Florești, Prahova, to create new emotions and legendary moments. Over 75 bands will perform on six stages between August 14–17, creating an atmosphere unlike anything else in Romania.

The LAROCK festival schedule is ready and posted on the official website www.larock.ro, giving everyone the chance to check the artist list and choose from dozens of activities available throughout the festival.

During the four festival days, participants will be able to see top artists such as Dubioza Kolektiv, Skindred, Subcarpați & Dope D.O.D., Dirty Shirt, Luna Amară, Coma, Robin and the Backstabbers, and many more. The festival promises four days of pure energy, from alternative rock and metal to unexpected genre fusions. In addition, the Avangard and Discovery Stage areas will give emerging artists the chance to showcase their talent to the public.

“LAROCK is more than a music festival – it’s a space of freedom, discovery, and community. This year, we’ve prepared an edition that brings together top artists, surprising activations, and experiences designed to give participants four unforgettable days,” said Andrei Năstase, LAROCK co-founder.

Main Activations and Fun Spots at LAROCK

LAROCK was designed as more than just a music festival. The generous space of the Cantacuzino Estate accommodates a wide range of additional activities, transforming the experience from a simple concert into a day-long adventure packed with things to do.

From the Sports & Fitness zone and the panoramic wheel, to Retro Cars, the open-air library, hammock relaxation zones, local artisan stalls, and branded partner activations from BIC, STR8, Banca Transilvania, Nepi Rockcastle, or CSR Zone – there’s something for everyone. Thrill-seekers can try paintball, bungee jumping, ATV races, hot air balloon rides, or helicopter flights. Family-friendly areas offer activities such as face painting, horse riding, and dedicated play areas for children.

Camping and Glamping Details

The camping area is equipped with essential facilities, including showers, eco-toilets, and device charging stations.
Access to the camping zone is available through special tickets sold on the official festival website, starting from 200 lei for DIY tents. Camping tickets are nearly sold out.

Easy Access from Ploiești

The LAROCK organizers provide regular shuttle buses running every hour from 8 AM to 4 AM during the festival days. Shuttles will depart from the esplanade of the Palace of Culture in Ploiești, with the option to add more if needed.

For those coming by car, there are 3,300 parking spots for cars and motorcycles. Parking passes cost 60 lei for the full 4 days or 20 lei per entry. All parking areas are fenced and lit.

The LAROCK festival payment system is powered by Banca Transilvania. Upon entry, each participant will receive an access wristband, which will be the only accepted payment method inside the festival. Wristbands can be topped up at designated stations across the venue, accepting both cash and card payments.

Festival-goers are encouraged to read and follow the event rules listed on the official website. The list of prohibited items should be checked in advance; possession of such items inside the festival is not allowed.

Drones and other flying devices are strictly prohibited in the festival perimeter for safety and privacy reasons. Rule violations may result in removal from the festival grounds and confiscation of prohibited items.

Children under 16 can only attend if accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket. Children under 14 can enter for free, but must be registered at the access points.
