OCS, VLASE & OIGĂN, HTETHTHEMETH, PHOBIA and HYPNO CEPERCO complete the lineup of the fourth edition of the ASTRA Rock festival, which will take place between August 15 and 17, 2025 at the ASTRA Open Air Museum in Sibiu.

They join the already announced lineup made up of PARADISE LOST, DOG EAT DOG, CEMETERY SKYLINE, SUBCARPAȚI, SPP, THE MONO JACKS, MIHAIL, NIȘTE BĂIEȚI, E-AN-NA and MACHIAVELLIAN GOD.

OCS (short for Omul cu Șobolani – inspired by the title of Freud’s book The Rat Man) is one of the most highly regarded alternative rock bands in Romania. Founded in Constanța in 1997, the band has conquered the country’s alternative scene with a sound mainly consisting of grunge, alternative rock, and pop rock influences, blended in their own style. In nearly three decades of existence, OCS has released eight albums, filmed almost 40 music videos, played hundreds of concerts, and now has a third generation of fans.

VLASE (ZOB) & OIGĂN (Robin and the Backstabbers, Moon Museum) return to the essence with an acoustic set dedicated to The Beatles, in a concert where “Yesterday” meets the present, “Let It Be” gains new meaning, and “Help!” is only for those who don’t appreciate irony. Two voices, two guitars, two different ways of looking at music – but perfectly synchronized when it comes to improvisation and live chemistry.

HTETHTHEMETH comes from Brașov and is considered one of the most enigmatic appearances in the Romanian rock & metal scene. With a unique style and no limits in expression, the band’s music boldly moves between metal with ambient elements, progressive, avant-garde, doom, gothic, hard rock, and even blues and bossa nova.

PHOBIA was formed in Bucharest in 2014 and went through several styles, reaching maturity with a solid groove metal sound. The quintet has performed in almost all rock clubs in the capital and is preparing to record its first studio album.

HYPNO CEPERCO is a pop-punk band formed by five young Sibiu natives, whose most recent single, “Înoată”, premiered on Radio Trib and Radio Guerrilla.

The schedule of performances for the three days of ASTRA Rock 2025 is as follows:

Friday, August 15: DOG EAT DOG, SPP, E-AN-NA, HTETHTHEMETH, VLASE & OIGĂN

Saturday, August 16: SUBCARPAȚI, OCS, THE MONO JACKS, NIȘTE BĂIEȚI, HYPNO CEPERCO

Sunday, August 17: PARADISE LOST, CEMETERY SKYLINE, MIHAIL, MACHIAVELLIAN GOD, PHOBIA

The performances will take place alternately on the two festival stages: one set up on the lake and one located in the Country Fair area.

Beyond music, the cultural offer of ASTRA Rock 2025 will be complemented by substantial related events, alongside many educational and fun activities and culinary surprises.
