The 8th edition of the Zacusca de Artă Festival will take place September 5–7, 2025, in the welcoming and history-filled setting of the Medieval Fortress in Târgu Mureș.

Zacusca de Artă is a community-centered cultural festival where live music, visual arts, theater, workshops, and authentic flavors come together in a relaxed late-summer atmosphere. The event places art at the heart of the city—accessible, alive, and shared.

On the main stage, both established artists and fresh names from the Romanian music scene will perform in a carefully curated acoustic line-up: Vița de Vie – Acu2tic, Dora Gaitanovici – Acoustic Set, Simona Delegeanu, Cristina Lupu, VĂILE, MindTheGap Trio, and Diana Căldăraru.

The artistic program also features a series of live performances: children’s theater with Trupa Artya (September 6 and 7), street theater in partnership with Teatru în Fața Blocului, fire and LED juggling by the Romanian Scouts – Târgu Mureș branch, and The Mercenaries of Aserculis, who will bring visual spectacle to the evening stage.

On September 7, the festival will host the Local Talent Fest Finals, in collaboration with the Mercur Creativ Association. This stage is dedicated to young local artists performing for the first time in a professional context, showcasing dance, voice, instruments, and demonstrations.

The festival also offers a wide workshop area for all ages—ranging from spray stencil art and sustainable puppet-making to scouting activities and hands-on personal development. In collaboration with Zilele Jocurilor, a dedicated board games area will combine fun with social interaction.

The Crafts Fair, organized with the support of the Mercur Creative Association, will transform Cetății Boulevard into a gallery of authentic creation, where visitors can discover objects made with skill, tradition, and soul.

For those seeking pure relaxation, the Chill & Vinyl zone will provide an oasis of calm with classic vinyl music, hammocks, bean bags, and a bohemian vibe—perfect for sitting, listening, and daydreaming.

The street food area will bring reimagined local flavors, creative comfort food, and, of course, authentic zacusca, prepared homemade-style. At the Jai Bistrot stand, visitors will be able to enjoy two varieties: mushroom and eggplant—served on fresh bread slices.

Admission is free, and the entire experience is designed as a cultural gift to the community. Zacusca de Artă is more than a festival—it is a living space that unites people, stories, and artistic expression in a memorable weekend.

For the full program and real-time updates, audiences are invited to follow the official Zacusca de Artă social media channels.

The festival is co-financed by the Mureș County Council and the City Hall of Târgu Mureș, following the successful application in the public funding competition for cultural projects in 2025.

The project does not necessarily reflect the views of the Târgu Mureș City Hall or the Local Council, who are not responsible for its content or for the way its results may be used. Full responsibility lies with the funding beneficiary.
