DIRTY FEST 2025 marks 30 years of activity for the well-known rock band Dirty Shirt, bringing together in a single event unforgettable concerts, music, professional and technical education, opportunities for young artists, and a campaign to raise awareness about the issue of abandoned animals in Cluj-Napoca.

The main highlight of the project is the DIRTY SHIRT 30TH ANNIVERSARY CONCERT, taking place on September 12 at Camping Colina – Cluj-Napoca. This will be the band’s only show this year with the Mărțișorul Folklore Ensemble from Cluj-Napoca. Special guests include:

  • Besh o droM (Gypsy-Folk-Rock, Hungary) – who will perform the new track Büntető together with Dirty Shirt
  • Diamonds Are Forever (Metalcore, Cluj-Napoca)
  • Overburn (Metalcore, Cluj-Napoca) – chosen through a contest by the members of Dirty Shirt

The evening will close with an afterparty featuring two of Dirty Shirt’s own technicians: DJ EVGA & DJ VIO.

The following day brings DIRTY FAMILY DAY 2025, a special fan-requested concert after the success of last year’s edition. This exclusive gathering will be held at Machines Venue, Cluj-Napoca, on September 13. It will be an intimate show with snacks and drinks, behind-the-scenes stories, and—most importantly—the unique chance for fans to join Dirty Shirt on stage (vocals or instruments). The extended setlist will be chosen directly by the participants!

In addition to the anniversary concert, the project features a series of MUSICAL, TECHNICAL & PROFESSIONAL WORKSHOPS, where the Dirty Shirt team will share their international experience with the next generation of musicians and technicians. Workshops will take place at Voltaj Academy, Cluj-Napoca, from September 6–14.

The project also includes a strong community component: the DIRTY SHIRT – FUR-EVER FRIENDS campaign, which raises awareness about abandoned animals in Cluj-Napoca. Two local associations—Green Cats and Tura 3—are invited to the anniversary concert to share their mission and activities.

This project is supported by the Cluj-Napoca City Hall and Local Council.
