After releasing the album Fuga Iuga, Mădălina Pavăl, together with her orchestra, embarks on a tour of the same name. Each concert promises to be a story in itself, unfolding in spaces with historical and emotional significance, amplifying the message of their music and delivering an authentic sound that blends Bukovinian and Balkan folklore with alternative and classical influences.

From cathedrals and synagogues to art cinemas and national theaters, each venue chosen for this tour brings a unique vibration. Music meets architecture, and the stories of the album resonate within walls that have held history, culture, and communities over time.

Mădălina Pavăl is the only artist in Romania who performs all her concerts with a live orchestra, and her shows are a refined mix of tradition and modernity, of old and new. Together with her orchestra, she brings to the stage worldly music that captivates and moves, transforming each concert into an experience of introspection and reconnection.

Fuga Iuga speaks about the balance between life’s restlessness and the need to return to oneself – “Fuga te fură și Iuga te adună” (“Fuga sweeps you away, Iuga gathers you back”). The nine tracks of the album tell stories about people, love, and emotions, turning each concert into an introspective journey and a reconnection with cultural roots. In addition, the audience will also enjoy beloved songs from the artist’s repertoire, such as “Tu știi ce știi”, “Luna”, and “Tot de dor”, which will enrich the evening’s soundscape.

About Mădălina Pavăl Orchestra

The orchestra formed organically around Mădălina Pavăl, bringing together 11 passionate musicians. Mădălina is an artist with an energy deeply rooted in reality, while also connected to a mythical, ancestral thread. Since childhood, she has dedicated herself to discovering, collecting, and reinterpreting old Romanian folk songs with unique sensitivity and strong determination.

She first gained recognition through her collaboration with the band Subcarpați, and later with the release of her debut album Oamenii se fac dor (2019), where she combined Bukovinian folklore with urban influences and modern rhythms, shaping a unique and contemporary sound.

In 2020, Mădălina broadened her musical horizons, exploring the traditions of other cultures and transforming them into original compositions. That same year, the video Vino pân’ la București marked the beginning of a new musical concept, which evolved into Mădălina Pavăl Orchestra.

The project brings together the textures of classical music – string quintet, flute – with the energy of dance and the tribal force of an alternative band, resulting in a cosmopolitan sound. Their music draws inspiration from diverse spaces – Bukovina, Moldova, the Danube-South region, and the Balkans – carrying the imprint of the places and artists that create it.

In 2022, Mădălina Pavăl Orchestra released the album Roiesc, the group’s first work in its extended formula. The album marked an artistic maturation, deepening the fusion of folklore with contemporary influences and consolidating the orchestra’s sonic identity, praised by both audiences and critics.
