On October 4, the Bulgarian band Anonyme will perform for the first time in Bucharest at Nether Club (Calea Victoriei 48–50), as part of their “Into The Vortex” album release tour.

Anonyme is an alternative metal band from Sofia. Their debut release, The Absence (2018), showcased the group’s ability to blend modern metal instrumentation and textures with pop-inspired structures, in a style reminiscent of bands like AFI and Avenged Sevenfold. Their new album, Into The Vortex, released earlier this year, marks a sonic and thematic maturation, moving away from the more evident influences of their first EP. This evolution is reflected in the use of more complex song structures and instrumental interludes between the album’s key tracks.
The opening acts will be Sorrowsight and Blind Spirit:
Sorrowsight is a death/doom metal band with a gothic aesthetic, originally formed in Odesa, Ukraine, and now based in Bucharest. Their sound draws inspiration from Paradise Lost, Ne Obliviscaris, and Cradle of Filth, while standing out through the use of electric violin in most of their compositions. Lyrically, the band explores both personal and political themes, with the Russian invasion serving as a defining moment in their musical and personal evolution. The final track on their latest album, Essence Of Existence, titled The Fallen, details the members’ experiences at the beginning of the invasion.
Blind Spirit is a young alternative metal band. Their sound, still evolving, draws influences from heavyweights such as Deftones, Alice In Chains, and Jinjer.
Doors open at 7:00 PM, and the concert will start after 8:00 PM.
Tickets are available at the door (cash only) for 30 lei.
