The people of Bucharest are invited to join in large numbers the event organized on Munteanu’s birthday, dedicated to good deeds. This year, all funds raised will go to Georgiana Bigan, who was diagnosed three years ago with a rare form of bile duct cancer and is currently undergoing treatment in Austria.

The annual charity festival “Munteanu Fest” returns on October 10, at J’ai Bistrot Bucharest, marking the ninth edition of an event that blends art, friendship, and generosity. Initiated by Bogdan Munteanu, the festival has become over the years a tradition that turns his birthday into a noble cause.
As every year, Munteanu Fest brings together friends, artists, associations, and kind-hearted people in a collective effort to help those in need. The 2025 edition is dedicated to Georgiana Bigan, diagnosed three years ago with a rare form of bile duct cancer. After several chemotherapy sessions in Austria, her treatment continues, requiring financial support to be completed.
“If I could find 5,000 people willing to donate €10 each, I could raise the amount I need to complete my treatment,”
— says Georgiana Bigan.
The Munteanu Fest 2025 line-up includes numerous cultural and media entities supporting the event pro bono, offering the audience a vibrant evening of music and solidarity as DJs.

Since its first edition in 2016, Munteanu Fest has grown from a simple birthday party into an annual project with a real social impact.
“I’m thrilled to have reached the ninth edition of Munteanu Fest. The dream of turning my birthday into a charity event continues year after year, and the community’s support moves me every time.
This year we’re supporting Georgiana, a dear friend and an extraordinary person from whom I’ve learned a lot over time. There’s an old saying: ‘A friend in need is a friend indeed.’
So, I invite everyone—whether they know Georgiana or not—to be her friend for a moment and lend a helping hand during this challenging time in her life.”
— Bogdan Munteanu, festival organizer
