October 14 brings a night of dripping guitars and menacing drum beats to Control Club, as Weird Omen (FR) and Bad Decisions (RO) take the stage for a raw, high-energy live show.

WEIRD OMEN (FR)
A constant force in France’s garage rock scene, Weird Omen have been at it for over a decade, forging a sound that’s both cryptic and hypnotic a twisted garage trance blending dented ‘60s tones and hollow psychedelic neo-garage, all drenched in trash brass, reverb, and fuzz.
Their latest release, Blood (Beast Records), is yet another solid chapter in their sonic evolution, sticking close to their primitive, raw garage rock roots while pushing into new territory. The overblown saxophone remains central to their sound, adding that unmistakable edge.
BAD DECISIONS (RO)
Local support comes from Bad Decisions, a Bucharest-based punk band whose sound moves between rageful post-punk, garage, and occasional hints of krautrock. Their lyrics switch between English and Spanish, layered with vintage synths and a tense, driving rhythm section.
Formed by Andrew Luke (The Nuggs) and Ovidiu Chihaia (Mes Quins), the lineup now includes Ovidiu Bejan (The Amsterdams) and Vlad Niță (Cardinal). Their debut album Subnormal, released in 2022 on the legendary Swiss label Voodoo Rhythm Records, marked their explosive entry into the European underground scene.
Expect a night of gritty energy, fuzz-drenched riffs, and the kind of sonic chaos only a Control live show can deliver.
