Rock la Mureș returns in 2026 with a new edition that once again embraces its role as a free space for music lived without compromise. Between July 10 and 11, 2026, at Periam Port, Timiș County, the festival opens its gates for its 14th edition and announces the first wave of artists set to take the stage.

The first chapter of the lineup outlines an intense sonic map, built around relevant voices from the international scene. RAT BOY (UK), one of the most influential projects in contemporary British indie, brings a mix of attitude and vulnerability. ACIDEZ (Mexico), a landmark of Latin American hardcore punk, arrives with a brutal sound and an uncompromising message. NATIVE JAMES (UK) crosses the borders between nu metal, rap, and punk with an impossible-to-ignore force, while DUCTAPE (Turkey) completes the picture with a tense, hypnotic post-punk sound made for nights that refuse silence.

They are joined by two Romanian acts, chosen not for convenience but for impact. FITTONIA, one of the most dynamic recent appearances in metalcore, and PÂRNAIE, an authentic punk project with a widely recognized live energy, round out a first wave that speaks of diversity, courage, and artistic coherence.

Earlybird passes, available at the promotional price of 125 RON, can be purchased online via iabilet.ro.

For over 20 years, Rock la Mureș has been more than a festival. It is a community where music is lived directly, in a natural setting that transforms Periam Port into a summer refuge. The 2026 edition continues this direction, with a lineup built around live energy and sonic diversity.

RAT BOY is the British project initiated by Jordan Cardy, a name that has become emblematic of the new wave of UK indie. Their debut album Scum reached number 15 in the UK Albums Chart, with several tracks aired on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6, and Radio X, and the project highlighted by publications such as NME. The band was included in the BBC Sound of 2016 and MTV Brand New selections. In 2017, Rat Boy shared the stage with Liam Gallagher and later performed at major festivals such as Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, and Coachella. Their presence at Rock la Mureș promises an intense and memorable concert.

ACIDEZ, a hardcore punk and street punk band from Guadalajara, Mexico, active since 2003, is known for its brutal sound, thrash influences, and direct social messages, summed up by the motto “In Punk We Thrash”. The band has become a reference point on the international punk scene, appearing at festivals such as Obscene Extreme, Mighty Sounds, Rock al Parque, and Vive Le Punk. Their shows are pure explosions of energy, impossible to ignore.

DUCTAPE, the post-punk duo from Istanbul, delivers a tense, cinematic sound built on heavy bass lines and incisive guitars. Their music explores intense emotional territories and pushes the genre beyond convention, resulting in an electrifying live experience that blends melancholy with the raw force of contemporary post-punk.

NATIVE JAMES is an alternative rap artist from Ipswich who transcends genre boundaries, combining hip-hop, grime, punk, rock, and metal into a project with a strong and magnetic identity. Considered one of the most exciting figures in modern UK nu metal, Native James stands out through energy, message, and stage presence.

FITTONIA has quickly established itself on the Romanian scene as one of the most appreciated names in local metalcore, with a bold sound and lyrics centered on self-reflection, trauma, and exhaustion. Winners of the grand prize at the Posada Festival and one of the few Romanian bands to perform at Rockstadt Extreme Fest, Fittonia are recognized for one of the strongest live performances of recent years.

PÂRNAIE represents the Romanian punk scene with a direct, rebellious, and highly energetic sound. With two albums released, Prima abatere and Liberi, as well as sold-out shows to their name, the band has emerged as an important voice of the local underground.

In addition to concerts, the 14th edition of the festival will include workshops, creative spaces, relaxation areas, and outdoor activities, along with initiatives promoting a healthy lifestyle, prevention and awareness campaigns, ecological projects, and encounters that leave something behind ideas, dialogue, and a sense of well-being. Not as a trend, but as a natural part of the DNA of a festival that grows organically alongside its community.

Rock la Mureș thus continues its mission: good music, authentic people, and an experience that stays with you.
