On Tuesday, February 17, the alternative rock duo Second Wave return to the stage at Control Club for their first concert after a longer break, alongside the release of a brand new single, “Lost and Found.”

Formed in 2016 by Daniel Antohi (vocals and guitar) and Radu Dorobanțu (drums), Second Wave have built a sonic universe that blends post-rock, ambient, and shoegaze influences, resulting in a wide, atmospheric sound despite their minimalist formula.

The new single “Lost and Found” marks the band’s return and a fresh beginning. The song speaks about rediscovery and the strength to rise and move forward.

“After almost three years of hiatus, we’re back with Lost and Found, the first chapter in a series of songs we’ve been working on during this time, marking the beginning of a new stage for us. Lost and Found is a song about rediscovery, about those moments when you feel lost but find the strength to rebuild yourself and move forward, supported by the people who stay by your side,” say Daniel and Radu.

Over the years, Second Wave have released several singles aired on local alternative radio stations, as well as their debut EP, Every Quiet Ocean, a four-part sonic journey through introspection, frustration, and pain. Cinematic and immersive, the material moves between fragile calm and moments of raw intensity, reflecting its central theme: that every quiet ocean holds its own chaos.

The February 17 concert at Control Club marks the beginning of a new chapter for the band: a return to the stage, new music, and reconnecting with the audience.

Tickets will be available only at the door on the day of the show.
