Weather Systems (UK) – alternative rock / progressive rock / post-rock
Weather Systems, the new musical project founded by Daniel Cavanagh and Daniel Cardoso (former members of Anathema), comes directly from the United Kingdom to deliver a truly memorable performance on the SoundArt Festival stage where they will also play Anathema classics. Weather Systems carries forward the musical legacy of Anathema, blending raw emotion with progressive and atmospheric arrangements. The band has already captivated audiences through a rare balance of sensitivity and power.
The year 2024 marks the release of their debut album, Ocean Without a Shore, which was met with enthusiastic acclaim from both specialized music press and fans alike, confirming Weather Systems as a strong new voice in the European alternative music landscape. Their festival performance promises an intense musical journey — from new Weather Systems compositions to emotionally charged reinterpretations of classic Anathema songs.
Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio (SE) – neofolk / apocalyptic folk / dark ambient
Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio, the Stockholm-based apocalyptic pop duo formed by visionary Tomas Pettersson and his muse Rose-Marie Larsen, will appear at SoundArt Festival for the first time as one of the headliners of the 2026 edition. Often described as apocalyptic dark folk, haute couture industrial, or “pop music for the non-conformist,” ORE defies categorization, crafting a sonic aesthetic that is sensual, provocative, and unmistakably unique.
Their music explores radical contrasts — creation and destruction, light and darkness, joy and sorrow, eros and conflict — inviting the audience into a poetic space where reflection becomes ritual.
Planet of Zeus (GR) – southern / stoner metal
Greek heavy rock pioneers Planet of Zeus return to SoundArt Festival for an explosive performance, marking the release of their new album Afterlife, available from October 11, 2024. With more than two decades of international touring experience and a discography that includes five studio albums and one live release, the band returns stronger than ever, ready to overwhelm the festival audience with raw energy and intensity.
With Afterlife, Planet of Zeus step away from their blues-rock roots and plunge into a bold sonic universe where the band’s unmistakable groove merges with a contemporary, mature, and explosive sound. At the heart of this new chapter stands Babis’ powerful voice, effortlessly blending brute intensity with deeply emotional passages, guiding the band into expressive territories previously unexplored.
(Dolch) (DE) – drone / doom / black metal / ambient
Emerging from the Berlin underground, the enigmatic band (Dolch) will bring a dark, hypnotic atmosphere to SoundArt Festival, seamlessly crossing genre boundaries. With two acclaimed studio albums — Feuer (2019) and Nacht (2022) — both part of an epic three-chapter cycle (“Feuer, Nacht & Tod”), (Dolch) have gained recognition for a distinctive sound that blends dark ambient, doom metal, and drone elements, paired with lyrics that oscillate between urban melancholy and ritualistic dream-states.
Their appearance at SoundArt Festival will be one of the rare opportunities to experience (Dolch) live, in an intimate setting on the Quantic Club stage.
Calyces (GR) – progressive metal
Shell Beach (HU) – post-hardcore / alternative
Euthymia (IT/DE) – progressive rock/doom/post-rock/ambient
Davide Laugelli (IT) – metal / experimental bass project
Hteththemeth (RO) – avantgarde metal / rock experimental
Annapurna (RO) – stoner rock/psychedelic rock
A Broken Design (MT) – stoner rock/grunge
“Pax in Natura”
“Pax in natura” is the guiding theme under which the festival unfolds, a call for harmony and balance in a world marked by tension and chaos. The expression evokes both humanity’s return to nature as a sanctuary of calm, and the rediscovery of inner peace within one’s own human nature.
More than an ecological slogan, “pax in natura” becomes a modern blessing — a universal code of reconciliation and contemplation — inspiring audiences to rediscover simplicity and authentic connection with the world around them.
About SoundArt Festival
Now in its 7th edition, SoundArt Festival represents a bold projection within a social landscape where niche-focused music events require sustained effort to be built and meaningfully communicated to their audience.
SoundArt Festival is not a showcase for bands following a predefined formula of musical success. Instead, it surprises through personal elements, continuously reinvents itself, and remains in constant search — embracing not only music, but other forms of art as well.
The objective is crystal clear: to promote the arts and artists at a local level, within a truly distinctive musical framework. The festival itself stands as the brand’s main ambassador, a name that guides audiences through carefully curated musical journeys, bringing to the stage artists chosen with both discernment and heart.
