BONFIRE – The legendary German hard rockers are coming to Celtic Transilvania Festival 2026.

Celtic Transilvania Festival 2026 proudly announces one of its major confirmations: the legendary German band BONFIRE will take the main stage at this year’s edition, promising an explosive night of hard rock.

Bonfire are one of Germany’s most representative hard rock bands, with a history spanning more than five decades of intense music, electrifying riffs, and unforgettable choruses. Widely regarded as one of the most important German hard rock acts of the past fifty years, the band reached international success with landmark albums such as Don’t Touch the Light (1986), Fireworks (1987), and Point Blank (1989). During their peak years, they became one of the most popular German hard rock groups worldwide, with triumphant tours across Europe and beyond, gold records, high chart positions, TV appearances, and millions of YouTube views.

Bonfire continue to impress fans with energetic new releases. Their latest album, Higher Ground (2025), once again highlights their songwriting strength and enduring passion for melodic, vibrant hard rock.

Their presence at Celtic Transilvania Festival 2026 adds a spectacular highlight to the lineup and reinforces the festival’s commitment to bringing high-caliber international artists to Romania.
