The London-based singer-songwriter A.A. Williams will take us on a brilliantly dramatic and intimate walk on the dark side on Thursday, March 5, 2026, after 7 PM at Control Club.
The evening is dedicated to intense soundscapes at the crossroads of post-rock, doom metal, and atmospheric folk. Opening the night is the Bucharest-based project Faunlet. Tickets are available through the Eventbook network.

Having made her live debut at the prestigious Roadburn Festival in the Netherlands, following the release of her self-titled EP, A.A. Williams has since toured across the globe with the likes of Cult of Luna, Explosions in the Sky, Russian Circles, Sleep Token, and The Sisters of Mercy, as well as establishing herself as a compelling headline artist. Highlights include a performance at the iconic Queen Elizabeth Hall, inside London’s Southbank Centre.
Her albums Forever Blue (2020) and As The Moon Rests (2022) have consolidated her international status, while a recording session at Maida Vale Studios further confirmed her artistic reputation. Recently, she signed with Reigning Phoenix Music and released the single “Just A Shadow,” a track exploring themes of inner duality and the acceptance of vulnerability, accompanied by an animated video created by Romanian artist Costin Chioreanu.
Not one to rest on her laurels, A.A. Williams has also released a selection of companion pieces, including a collaborative single with Japanese post-rock titans MONO — “Exit In Darkness” — and a solo covers collection recorded during the 2020 pandemic lockdown, Songs From Isolation, which garnered praise from Robert Smith of The Cure and Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins for her unique interpretations of their original songs.
Perhaps most impressively, 2021’s arco saw the multi-instrumentalist completely rework her debut EP from rock instrumentation into a string ensemble, drawing on her classical training and arrangement skills to stunning effect.
Opening the night, Faunlet is a project that evolves through its past incarnations, constantly reshaping itself while pushing into new territory. From shoegaze and post-punk to shadowy gothic-grunge, the project resists easy categorization, yet always circles back to one constant: Peter’s elegantly haunting voice the gravitational center of it all.
Otherworldly and dark, a Faunlet show feels less like a concert and more like a narrative unfolding the kind that could soundtrack a book, or linger long after the last page.
On Thursday, March 5, 2026, after 7 PM at Control Club, join us for an intense and introspective evening not to be missed by fans of dark alternative, post-rock, and doom gaze. The A.A. Williams + Faunlet concert in Bucharest is organized by Control Club with the support of OneDay.
