The Bucharest-based dance-rock band Claro Que No returns with “The Division,” their most aggressive and high-energy track to date. Inspired by today’s deeply polarized sociopolitical climate, the song turns frustration into an intense statement about history repeating itself, built on raw energy and rhythms that invite pogo dancing.

The band will officially release the track on March 19 with a concert at Encore Club. They will be joined by Mizantrop as the opening act. Tickets are available on ambilet.ro.

Drawing parallels between the still-unhealed wounds of the Spanish Civil War and the resurgence of extremist rhetoric in contemporary Western politics, “The Division” explores how old scars are reopened and exploited, capturing the chaos of a world where outrage has become currency. Through references to Machiavellian strategies, the band examines the oldest method of maintaining power: dividing people. A clear message that nothing we see today is truly new.

With the release of “The Division,” Claro Que No ventures into heavier sonic territory than ever before. The mix of sharp guitars and energetic percussion is complemented by the distorted bass of Șerban Mateescu, marking his first official appearance in the band’s studio lineup. All of this is rounded out by Dany’s most aggressive vocal performance to date. In under three minutes, the track accelerates, fractures, and returns in a finale dominated by synthesizers and aggressive riffs.

“The Division” is now available on all major streaming platforms. Don’t miss the live release on March 19 at Encore Club. The track is also available now on all major streaming platforms.

Claro Que No consists of Dany Serrano (vocals, guitar), Andrey Baydin (lead guitar), Șerban Mateescu (bass), and Andrei Ilie (drums).
