The Austrian psychedelic rock band Mother’s Cake is coming back to Bucharest for a show on Wednesday, March 25, at Control Club. The evening will kick off with Midpoint, one of the most promising acts from Romania’s new alternative wave.
Tickets are available via Eventbook.

Known for their explosive energy and intense live shows, Mother’s Cake continue their global tour promoting their latest album, Ultrabliss, following performances in Mexico, South Africa, India, and across Europe. The Bucharest audience can expect an electrifying show, blending new tracks with some of the band’s most appreciated songs.

The concert promises an immersive sonic experience, a true journey through the psychedelic rock universe: intense, dark, and ecstatic. Their unmistakable style combines powerful riffs with hypnotic rhythms, creating a space where genres blend and the audience is carried by the energy. Mosh pits are part of the band’s DNA, turning every show into a full-on experience.

Opening the night, local heroes Midpoint will bring an eclectic mix of rock, indie, funk, pop, and punk, defined by catchy hooks and sudden shifts. The trio is currently working on their debut material, and the audience will get to hear tracks like “Cheesecake/Lonewolf” and “Blue Hole” live.

The event at Control Club is shaping up to be one of the most intense live experiences of the spring, a meeting point between the international psych rock scene and Romania’s new alternative wave.

The Mother’s Cake + Midpoint concert in Bucharest is organized by Control Club with the support of OneDay.

Tickets are priced at 85 RON (general access) and are available online on control-club.ro, via Eventbook, and at the door on the night of the event, subject to availability.
