Women in Music Mentorship Program returns with its 6th edition! Applications are open until April 10, 2026

Applications are now open for the 6th edition of the Women in Music Mentorship Program, the first and only mentorship initiative dedicated to women at the beginning of their careers in the Romanian music industry. Over the course of 6 months, 10 women leaders from the music industry will guide 10 emerging women professionals, offering support, information, and a platform for professional growth in an environment that promotes authenticity and inclusion.

The 6th edition of the Women in Music Mentorship Program continues its mission to address the professional underrepresentation of women in essential management and coordination roles within the music industry. Previous editions have shown that mentorship is the ideal bridge between passion and a solid career, offering participants not only know-how but also the confidence and connections needed to successfully navigate the challenges of the music business.

This edition introduces a strengthened structure designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience. In addition to the core 1:1 mentorship relationship, the 2026 edition adds an expanded component of 10 online workshops led by the mentors, focusing on practical tools in areas such as marketing, PR, booking, event production, publishing, project management, and more.

The experience is further enhanced by the group project, a central pillar of recent editions of the program. Participants will simulate the activity of a management agency for an emerging artist, gaining the opportunity to apply their newly acquired skills in a relevant professional context. The project, which includes creating a promotional campaign for an emerging artist and organizing a live concert, will run throughout the duration of the program, with ongoing guidance and feedback from the mentors and the Women in Music team.

The program focuses on both professional and personal development, with one of its core missions being the expansion of the Women in Music community, a safe and active space built on shared values and the #womensupportingwomen concept.

The 2026 edition requires a participation fee of 600 RON, applicable only to candidates selected following the interview stage. The program also offers a full scholarship, awarded based on the motivation expressed in the application form.

Because group activities will take place in Bucharest, physical attendance is mandatory according to the announced schedule, ensuring the full experience and real connection between members of the community.
