Summer Well, one of the biggest music festivals from Eastern Europe, will take place between 9 and 11 August in Buftea, Romania.

More and more people and artists are interested in this festival, so we decided to talk to the artists from the line-up about their expectations about the festival.

Today, we talk with Bobby Basil, the star of Ireland, ex-member of the duo Dah Jevu. After many amazing singles, Bobby Basil released his solo debut album “Isaac Nelson” on 22nd of January 2019.

On 25th of March, he was announced in the line-up for this year’s edition. What should we expect from his show? He told us some things…

It’s your first show in Romania. What do you know about the country?

One fact I know about Romania is that you, guys, tax black magic.

What do you know about the Summer Well festival?

I don’t know much, but it seems to be concise and focus on quality over quantity.

What are your expectations for Summer Well?

I try to go into anything with little to no expectations and try be in the moment.

How you reacted when you’ve been invited to this year’s edition?

Thankful and privileged to represent my country as the only Irish man at the festival.

What should Romania expect from your show?

They should expect a full circuit of emotions.

Do you have any message for your fans and people who are going to attend at your show?

My message would be “Don’t let pride determine your outcome in life”.

We think that Bobby Basil’s show will be an amazing one and Romania will love it. If you want to sing with him, here are some songs you must listen to before the show:
