Unfortunately, Summer Well 9 is over, but the good thing is that we are closer to the anniversary edition, right?

The ninth edition started, as always, with the Night Picnic, which featured Bucharest Symphony Orchestra and Son Lux. The BSO’s show was expected by all the participants and we know why. Combining classical music with EDM and Rock, they have proved once again that they are probably one of the best orchestras in the world.
The second day started with Red Rum Club on Main Stage. The band from Liverpool somehow remembered us of The Beatles, as they were a pleasure to see and hear.

Tender kept the vibe going, preparing the spectators for the 3 huge performances from Pale Waves, Jungle and The 1975.

The 1975, winners of Brit Awards 2019 for British Group and Album Of The Year did not disappoint, as, in our opinion, made the best show possible and also the best show from Summer Well 2019.

On the Red Bull Stage, Subcarpati and IAMDDB completed an amazing evening.
The last stay started off with Zola Blood, Black Honey and a long autographs session with Izzy Philips, the vocalist of Black Honey.

Maribou State, Razorlight and The National closed the last day of the festival on the Main Stage with shows that Romania won’t forget.
The Red Bull Stage also featured two names: Bobby Basil, the new talent of Irish hip-hop, and the well-known AJ Tracey, all before David August ended the ninth edition of Summer Well with an amazing After Party.

This year line-up was truly amazing, combining big bands like The National and The 1975 with newcomers like Bobby Basil, who had his first show outside Ireland at Summer Well. We would also like to mention Black Honey and Red Rum Club, who proved that they have the potential to become the next big names of the UK rock industry.

In conclusion, Summer Well proved again this year that it is one of the best East European festivals. We can not wait to see the surprises arranged for the 10 years anniversary that will take place next year, but one thing is sure: if you are a fan of alternative rock, indie rock, hip-hop or you just want to have one of the best weekends of your life, book your ticket right now, you won’t regret it!
