RM Awards: Revelation Of The Year

Probably the best story of the year was the story of Bokassa, the amazing band from Norway.

In January, after Lars Ulrich (Metallica) said Bokassa was his “favorite band”, they were invited to open the shows of the WorldWired Tour. We had the amazing opportunity to talk to them about their expectations regarding the tour. (The interview can be found here.)

2019 was a great year for them–in December, they were announced for the 2020 edition of the Wacken Open Air Festival, Download Festival, and Domination Festival (and the list is far from over.)

Taking all of these into consideration, our RM Award for Revelation Of The Year goes to…Bokassa! Thank you for a great year and good luck in 2020!
