Rock Monsters Romania

After a look at the promising Romanian solo artists, it is time to look at the bands, right? Here are some “recommendations”.

Berzerk

The progressive-metalcore band from Bucharest will release its first EP this month, which can be a success considering how many good review since they had their show from Old Black Festival in 2019.

Olympus Mons

There’s a new doom metal band on the big stage. Olympus Mons will open RockDeDatCuCapul festival in February, in the opening of bands like Iris or Kempes. It will be interesting to see them live, won’t it?

Pandora

2020 can be a huge year for Pandora, considering that its lead singer, Dragos Moldovan, just won The Voice Of Romania in 2019. Their popularity is already raising in Romania and not only and, considering the huge talent of Dragos, they can reach the Top 5 or 10 Romanian bands in 2020!

Paradox Theory

They’ve opened the show of the Romanian legends Bucovina in December and it looks like they are ready for a new year with a lot of songs (really good songs)!

Scarlet Aura

After a succesful tour in Europe in 2019, Scarlet Aura has announced the releasing of their new album, “Stormbreaker” (and a new tour). We can tell that this band is already a certainty for the future of Romanian metal, but the question is “How big will it be?”.

:Umbra

With new songs and a new EP, the band was one of the nice surprises of 2019. For sure it is a band to keep an eye on. They will reach the big stage soon, maybe in 2020…

Vathos

They had a really nice set at Rockstadt Extreme Fest this year and we think (and hope) that they will also be in the line-up for the 2020 edition. If not, check some of their songs and for sure you will want to go to their next show!
