The quarantine was a really hard period for bands and artist. We talked to some bands from all over the world to see the real effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic in music.

Today we talk to Marble, an amazing Melodic Metal band from North Italy!

How can you describe the changes generated by the pandemic in the band’s activity?

We used the pandemic to finish the preproduction of ‘S.A.V.E.’ so it was time of reborn for us.

What daily activity did you miss the most during quarantine?

Rehearse without the fear of being forced to cancel. Not to mention playing live which is a big hole for all involved into the music art.

Were there any pluses for this period without concerts?

You have more time to focus on your project, for others means more time to spend with families.

How does it feel to hear the idea of returning to some normalcy?

Right now here in Italy is just an idea, so no one fully believe in it.

What plans have you got for 2021?

To promote the best we can our new album and the singles. We have an amazing digipack Cd with the beautiful cover made by Jan Yrlund. ‘S.A.V.E.’ is now online on major streaming services.

Do you have any message for the bands or artists who are still in lockdown/quarantine?

Well, we can only say to hold on. This Pandemic have created a larger division between the main bands of the global scene and the underground. Those who lies in the middle are the real “music victims”.
