We are back in Bucharest to find another band for the future, as we always liked.
Today we talk to Electric Humidity, a young band that aims to be one of the best future bands of the next Romanian Rock Generation.
We tried to find out more about them, the beginning of the band and, of course, their future plans in an exclusive interview for our publication.

How did the band come about? How did you meet?
Pavel: I didn’t even have to sing with them, they called me to go out with them in Cișmigiu for a coffee, they coming from their rehearsals, I only knew one boy, the rest were colleagues of his. I understood that they had a band, we talked and I can say that I had an instant click, I understood that finally I have the opportunity to have a band with more than just “band mates”, I was going to have a band with some friends, some brothers. Ever since we met we have taken care of each other, all for one and one for all and the story goes on.
Adi: Kassan and I were the first time, we would meet at home and sang what came in our minds, then we met Mikey who brought Pavel, and since then our story begins.
Kassan: It all continued when I met a guitarist who, through a mysterious spell, decided to be patient with us and join us to take this thing to the end.
What inspired the band’s name?
Pavel: The band’s name was initially another one, I didn’t found myself at all with it, I proposed them to change it and Electric Humidity came out, the effect of an electric shock when we assume that you are sitting in a bathtub and someone puts an appliance that’s turned on in the water. You get electrocuted! We want to convey the same feeling through our music.
What idols do you have in music?
Pavel: I am very inspired by stories, and the artists who tell them make me compose my own original music. Bon jovi, Motley Crue, Skid Row and the list goes on.
Adi: For me it would be Joey Jordison, Tommy Lee.
Kassan: Personally: Corey Taylor, James Root, Ozzy Osbourne, Dimebag Darrell.
What are your goals for the future?
Pavel: I hate to waste time, we all are ALL-IN in this project, with small exceptions, but most of us want to take this band to European level and who knows… maybe Global, we aim extremely high, we promise to those who are with us from the beginning that we will not disappoint them and that we’ll grow through them, they will be proud of us as we are proud when they listen to our songs.
Adi: We just want to make you have fun, but also we want to be there for you in the difficult moments through our music.
Kassan: We want to get as big as we can so we break the stage and the moshpit.
If you were to change something from the beginning of the band, what would it be and why?
Pavel: As I said before, I have no time to waste, I can say that I wouldn’t change anything, but I would avoid associating with certain people, for the good of the band and our peace, the most important thing is to stay happy, to be safe from problems.
Adi: We don’t want to change anything because everything happens with a certain purpose, whether is good or bad.
Kassan: I would change the waste of time and some people who have slowed us down.
What message do you have for you from the past and/or the future?
Pavel: Message for the past “Stay away from bad people, take care of your family, keep singing even when you no longer see a point, the good comes gradually.” Message for the future “Take care of these guys in the band, something unites you far beyond music, you are united by friendship, the pleasure of being together and doing sensational things.”
Adi: Message for us from the past: have no regrets, the painful experiences will strengthen you. Message for us in the future: head up, we are proud of what we will be!
Kassan: We should’ve never rushed/we should never rush again.
What advice do you have for high school students and young people who want to make a band?
Pavel: Never give up, compose original, you must like it first, don’t sing for the audience, those who will find themselves in your style will join, the others will leave, don’t look back and don’t listen to those who will try to drag you down, form a band out of friendship, not out of business.
Adi: Follow your dreams, everything comes in it’s time!
Kassan: Be natural and let the talent and the inner beast speak for you.
What message do you have for those who will read this interview?
Pavel: I want people to know us as we are, we try to show only the beautiful part of the industry and the idea of a band, although the road is extremely long and full of difficulties. Thank you for your support, it means a lot when you transmit something with all your soul and that something resonates with others and it’s appreciated, we just ask you to trust us, because we will reach the top someday!
Adi: Thank you for reading what we wrote, everything is from the heart, we are waiting for you at the concert to have fun, ROCK ON DUDES!!!
Kassan: Live life and headbang ’till ya can’t no more.
If you want to see them live, you have the opportunity soon. Check the video below for more details!
