On May 5th at 20:00, Nuante will come to The Pub Universitatii to launch their third album, titled “Cântece Mute” (Silent Songs).
About the album
“Cântece Mute” are about emptiness, about non-experiences, about the enemy that lives in our minds and who does not miss any opportunity to kill us with our own bare hands, about demons and fires from the paradise of our souls, about our neighbor and the imagined reality we attribute to them, about our restrained feelings, about the concrete we swallow, about the street we merge with, becoming a single gray entity.
“Cântece Mute” are about suffocation, drowning, cold, but also about hope. The hope that we already know in the depths of ourselves, the trust in a stronger, wiser, braver “self”. Everything is a violent game, a run towards the last destination we reach against our will on the darkest day.
About the band
Nuante is a band formed in Pitesti, at the end of spring 2016, which approaches a style of rock strongly nuanced with funk and grunge. The band’s sound oscillates from energetic rhythms to melancholic chords. So far, the band has recorded two studio albums: “Două Minute” (Two Minutes), released in April 2019, and “Eva” in May 2021.
