The SESAME project aims to support the mobility of artists from areas surrounding the Black Sea, France, and the Republic of Moldova and to encourage intercultural collaboration through music. Over the course of five creative camps held in Bucharest, ten bands come together for seven days to create, learn, and perform. Each camp concludes with a SESAME Live Session event, where the artists present their newly created music to a live audience.

SESAME Live Session debuts on November 19th, bringing Nerlov from France and Mahaya from the Republic of Moldova together on the stage at Club Control. Tickets for the event cost 20 lei and are available at the club entrance.
Nerlov’s music is a unique blend of pop with hip-hop accents and electronic influences. Known for his emotional lyrics and captivating stage presence, Nerlov combines raw emotion with powerful beats, delivering a truly engaging experience.
Mahaya, hailing from the Republic of Moldova, brings a unique sound to the stage, fusing alternative and experimental vibes with deep electronic nuances. His performances are a sonic journey that blends introspection with revitalizing energy.
On November 19th, these two artists will take the stage at Club Control for the first edition of SESAME Live Session. All concert details are available here.
The SESAME project is co-funded by the European Union through the LIVEMX program and is implemented in Romania by the Star Education Association in partnership with the French Institute.
