In 2025, Luna Amară celebrates 25 years of career with a special national acoustic tour, bringing together fans from across the country to mark this significant milestone in Romanian rock history.

On March 6, the band will perform in Quantic, Bucharest, for an exceptional anniversary concert.

The anniversary acoustic concert will feature Up To Eleven, who will take the stage at Quantic alongside Luna Amară.

Up To Eleven began to gain recognition in 2012 when Laurențiu Vârlan (guitar), Liviu Popescu (bass), and Bogdan Moleșag (drums) were joined by Mircea Petrescu on vocals (and second guitar). This lineup released their first album, “Ce simți,” through Universal Records Romania in 2014.

The Up To Nirvana project took shape in 2013 and quickly became one of the most beloved tribute bands in Romania, continuing uninterrupted until the tragic events at Colectiv. In 2023, after an 8-year hiatus, Mircea, Bob, and Liviu revived the project, now joined by Octavian Trică (Tragic, ex-The Sonic Taste) on guitar.

At the Bucharest concert, fans will have the chance to get their hands on the Luna Amară – 25 Years anniversary t-shirt, designed by Alexandru Das, available for the first time at the band’s merchandise stand.

The 25th-anniversary acoustic tour kicked off on January 30 at D’Arc, Timișoara, and continued in cities like Oradea, Reșița, Iași, and Suceava, offering audiences a unique experience. The band’s unmistakable sound, blending powerful guitar riffs, contrasting vocal harmonies, and signature trumpet solos, has made this tour a truly memorable event. 

The tour continues after Bucharest with the following confirmed dates: 
– March 7 – Daily Pub, Galați
– March 8– La Liman, Tulcea
– March 14– Log Out, Baia Mare
– May 25 – Folk Fest, Cluj-Napoca

Founded in 2000, Luna Amară has become one of the most influential alternative rock bands in Romania, standing out with its powerful social messages and an authentic musical style that has resonated with multiple generations.
