Tramhaus (NL) brings post-punk energy to Control Club

Tramhaus, one of the most exciting acts on the Dutch post-punk scene, returns to Romania and will perform this week in Bucharest – Friday, April 17, at Control Club. The evening will open with local heroes Getchoo.

Tickets are available via the Eventbook network.

Originally from Rotterdam, Tramhaus has made a name for itself through electrifying live performances. With a sound that moves between shoegaze, punk rock, and experimental areas, the band is known for concerts where raw energy creates a captivating experience from the first to the last note.

Although active for a relatively short time, the band has already built an impressive trajectory: constant touring from Europe to Japan, and a well-received debut album – The First Exit (2024), praised in the Dutch press and enthusiastically welcomed on European stages. Last year, Tramhaus also won over Romanian audiences with a performance at Holzstock Indie Festival.

The band is currently on a European tour, which also includes stops in Romania: Wednesday, April 15 in Iași (Acaju Cafe) alongside Adam’s Nest, Thursday, April 16 in Cluj-Napoca (Atelier Cafe), and Friday, April 17 at Control Club in Bucharest.

On Friday, the evening will be opened by Getchoo, a rock band from Bucharest formed in 2023, blending vulnerable lyrics with dense and distorted sonic textures. With a constantly evolving sound, the four members create a balance between intimate moments and energetic bursts.

Their debut album, WILL (2024), was well received, strengthening the band’s reputation as one of the most promising local acts. Currently, Getchoo is working on new material, exploring fresh sonic directions and creative approaches.

The Tramhaus (NL) + Getchoo (RO) concert in Bucharest is organized by Control Club with the support of OneDay.

Tickets, priced at 60 RON (presale) and 70 RON (general sale), are available online at control-club.ro, via the Eventbook network, and at the door on the night of the event.

Event schedule: 19:00 open doors / 20:00 Getchoo / 21:00 Tramhaus
