Amenra is set to return to the stage of Quantic for a concert expected to deliver an immersive sonic and visual experience.

Founded in Belgium in 1999 by Colin H. van Eeckhout and Mathieu Vandekerckhove, Amenra has become one of the defining names of the contemporary sludge and post metal scene. In 2005, the band established the artistic collective Church of Ra, a creative network bringing together musicians and visual artists who share a common vision of art as a deeply transformative act.

The band’s sound is distinguished by the contrast between minimalist, almost liturgical passages and monumental waves of emotionally charged heaviness, resulting in an atmosphere that stands apart within the experimental metal landscape.

Renowned for live performances of rare intensity, Amenra creates an immersive environment in which sound, visuals, and stage presence merge into a cohesive artistic statement. Each performance becomes a collective experience shaped by sincerity, artistic discipline, and an emotional depth that transcends the conventional boundaries of the genre.

With an internationally acclaimed reputation and collaborations alongside key names in alternative music, Amenra has secured cult status, earning respect both for the power of its music and for the artistic integrity that defines its trajectory.

Also joining the event is Am Fost La Munte Și Mi-a Plăcut, often abbreviated as AFLMSMP, one of the leading names in Romania’s instrumental post rock and post metal scene. Formed by five multi instrumentalists, the band has steadily expanded its presence beyond the local circuit through appearances at major festivals such as dunk!festival, Electric Castle, Tumult Festival, and Rockstadt Extreme Fest, as well as European tours alongside hubris. and Barrens.

In 2025, Am Fost La Munte Și Mi-a Plăcut released its fourth full length album, I WENT TO THE MOUNTAIN, co released by dunk!records and A Thousand Arms. The record highlights a heavier musical direction, naturally incorporating progressive and stoner influences into the band’s established sound.
