And to be honest, so are we. But beyond the international headliners, the festival lineup is packed with talented Romanian artists who deserve a spot on your schedule.

E-an-na

I may be a little biased here because they’re my favorite band, but the energy they bring to every show is unbelievable. And you never know what surprise they have in store this time. Even the vocalist is a question mark, as Roxana has taken a break. Maybe this year’s hora will be even bigger… and hopefully with fewer storms near the Hangar Stage.

Robin and the Backstabbers

You probably recognise the name, and if you don’t, have you even been to Romanian festivals? Even if they don’t release new songs as often as we’d like, the show is always impeccable, and the jokes are always on point. RatB at a summer concert? It’s always something you’ll remember, maybe even forever, especially if you’re surrounded by your best friends or soulmates.

Armand Popa

Armand is a man of many talents, a jack of all trades, from whom you never quite know what to expect, but at the same time you can always expect a great show and set. But what makes him so special? The fact that he is constantly improving, and if you haven’t seen him for a while, it will hit you like a rocket. Words can’t fully explain how good his shows are, so why not try it yourself?

Anais Vacariu

Does “Cer Divin” ring a bell? If you have any kind of social media, then it probably does. Anais is one of the artists who is living her dream after moving to Berlin to study composition at BIMM Music Institute. She became popular with her song on TikTok, reached the semifinals of Eurovision Romania 2026, and even played her debut concert at Expirat at the beginning of the summer.

She reminds everyone that hard work pays off and that living a fairytale can be possible, even if most people think otherwise. So why not see what she’s capable of doing?

Nuanțe

A band that rose from Pitești like Dobrin and kicks out instruments and lyrics as hard as the legendary footballer. For me, Nuanțe gives off the vibe of a smaller Robin and the Backstabbers, but in a more funky, more vibey way. And like all the names previously mentioned, they are always growing. Until when? We’ll see, but first, you must see them!

Some special mentions? If you’re looking for some classics, you can go for the already well-known byron, om la lună, Ana Coman, or The Mono Jacks. But if you love punk and fresh, fun bands, then dă-te-n sânge and miau.wav are not to be missed. There are many more bands and artists waiting for you to discover them live, even if they aren’t on this list.
