On June 18, ZOB will launch the double vinyl “Greatest (H̷)Tits” at Quantic, during a concert where former members Lonți, Forrest, and Doru will also take the stage.

The double vinyl brings together 23 songs from the band’s discography, from their earliest albums to their most recent material. “Telenovele”, “Printre nori”, “Prietena mea”, “Ninel”, “Oficial exist”, and “Întoarcerea Zmeului” are among the titles included across the two records.

The two vinyl discs are subtitled “For little frogs” and “For little bunnies”.

“There are 33 years gathered in almost 88 minutes of music. Songs with a message, still relevant today, such as ‘Just Like Kennedy’s’, ‘I Shot Someone’, songs created in unimaginable suffering like ‘Printre nori’, ‘Killer’, ‘Doar în vis’, ‘Cântec de dragoste’, ‘Iar în vis’, or songs where we simply mocked politics, behaviors, and musical styles that seemed out of place, such as ‘Marea 2000 si 3 de 1’, ‘Telenovele’, etc. I am very proud of this album and I believe it can easily sit in any rock collection. And on June 18 we will have a concert full of madness, joy, emotion, anger, and even love at times. And the story will continue,” says Vlase.

Lonți, Forrest, and Doru reunite with ZOB

The launch concert will bring together the current lineup of the band and three of its former members: Lonți, Forrest, and Doru.

The audience will be able to hear songs spanning more than three decades of activity, performed by the current lineup together with musicians who have been part of different ZOB formations.

The double vinyl “Greatest (H̷)Tits” is produced together with Universal Music Romania. The material was mastered and remastered by Cristian Varga, and the artwork is signed by Costin Chioreanu.

About ZOB

ZOB was founded in 1993 and held its first concert under this name at an event organized by the “Corrupted Morals” foundation.

The band built its identity around a mix of punk rock, alternative rock, humor, parody, and social commentary. Direct lyrics, easily recognizable choruses, and high-energy concerts turned ZOB into a constant presence on the Romanian alternative scene.

A key moment in the band’s evolution was the release of the album “Telenovele”, which brought them to a wider audience. ZOB’s discography continued with releases such as “III”, “Printre nori” released in 2004, “ZuluOscarBravo” released in 2009, and “Deviant”.

In 2023, ZOB celebrated 30 years of activity and entered a new stage with Dan Andrei Modrea, known by his stage name Xu’, joining as drummer.
