ILINCA releases “Tarot” together with E-an-na, a track from her upcoming album “Divin Féminin”, and announces the album release concert

ILINCA releases “Tarot”, her first collaboration with the band E-an-na and a new musical chapter from her upcoming album “Divin Féminin”. Considered one of the most versatile voices in the Romanian music industry, ILINCA continues to surprise audiences by exploring a wide range of sonic territories, from yodeling and pop to lăutărească, Balkan, and rock influences.

“Tarot” is one of the tracks featured on the album “Divin Féminin”, alongside the singles “Fetele” and “Shiki Shiki Bam Bam”. The record marks an important milestone in the artist’s career, being her first 100% solo album.

Through this project, ILINCA aims to offer the audience a complete perspective on her artistic identity, exploring the contrasts that define her both as a person and as a musician. “Divin Féminin” brings together songs that highlight both the bright, playful, and exuberant energy her listeners are used to, and a more vulnerable, dark, and introspective side. The album is built around the idea of duality and offers an authentic journey into her creative universe.

The new track brings a mysterious and intense atmosphere, blending ILINCA’s artistic universe with the unmistakable energy of E-an-na.

<<Tarot>> is a story about betrayal, magic, and a curse. The song started from a comment I received on Instagram, from my series <<Your comment, my song>>, and eventually grew into a full song, becoming my first featuring with the band E-an-na. I met the guys from E-an-na four years ago, when they were participating in the Eurovision National Selection and I was the host. I instantly fell in love with their music, and ever since then it has been a dream to create a song together one day. I’m very grateful that they accepted this challenge and I can’t wait to see the audience’s reaction, as the song is quite different from what my listeners are used to. I wanted the track to have an epic and crazy ending, blending classical music influences as well, a genre I grew up with since both of my parents are opera singers. So, together with Andrei Piper, I designed a choral ending section and recorded it with an ensemble from the Transylvania Philharmonic Choir, which my mother is also part of. This song has fulfilled two of my dreams: collaborating with E-an-na and collaborating with a philharmonic choir on one of my own songs.”, says ILINCA.

ILINCA is known for her vocal versatility, authenticity, and courage to experiment. She stands out through her unique vocal technique, yodeling, which brought her to the semi-finals of The Voice of Romania in 2016. A year later, she represented Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, where she placed 7th in the Grand Final in Kyiv – one of Romania’s best results in the competition.

In 2022, ILINCA relocated to Cluj and became an independent artist, a choice that allowed her to redefine her artistic direction. In 2024, she joined an international Eurovision-themed tour, performing in several European cities and in Australia.

The year 2025 marked an important creative phase with the release of the album “Balkan Mama”, created together with the band Gadjo Dilo, as well as the singles “Sukarije”, in collaboration with Christian Eberhard, and “Cântă Lautare”, projects that explore the relationship between tradition and contemporaneity. In the same year, ILINCA also released “Femme Fatale”, a track with a strong social message inspired by the reality of violence against women in Romania, reinforcing her artistic focus on social and identity-driven themes.

In 2026, ILINCA continues her artistic direction centered on identity, femininity, and freedom of expression. Among her releases are “Fetele”, marking a new chapter of her artistic discourse about women between vulnerability and solidarity, and “Shiki Shiki Bam Bam”, a song about personal liberation and reconnection with the self, built on organic and unfiltered honesty. These releases pave the way for “Divin Féminin”, her first fully self-composed solo album, set for release this autumn.
