How Do You Find Your Artistic Identity After a Talent Show? Larisa XO Continues Her Journey with “Privirea Ta”

After spending three years in London, the former Vocea României contestant returns with a new pop single about the attraction that exists before words.

For many artists, taking part in a talent show is just the beginning. For others, it is also the greatest challenge: what do you do after the spotlight fades and you have to build your own artistic identity?

Larisa XO chose to give herself time. Following her experience on Vocea României, where she earned all four chair turns, the artist spent three years in London, collaborating with international producers and exploring the artistic direction that best represents her.

Today, that journey continues with “Privirea Ta”, her latest single, a pop track about the attraction that emerges before words and the connections that are born through simple gestures.

“‘Privirea Ta’ started from a lyric that came to me almost instantly: few words, eyes full of meaning. It made me think about how often we meet people who talk endlessly about themselves, and how rarely we meet someone who simply sees you. The song is about the attraction that comes before explanations, about those moments when what you say no longer matters as much as the way someone looks at you,” says Larisa XO.

The new release follows a series of singles through which the artist has gradually shaped her musical identity. Among them is “Ieși din viața mea”, a track that received support from several major Romanian radio stations, further confirming the potential of a project that continues to grow.

“Privirea Ta” carries forward the vision of an artist who isn’t looking for shortcuts or simply chasing trends, but is steadily building a distinctive musical identity where mystery, emotion, and authenticity take center stage.
