The second edition of Odyssea Rock Fusion Festival officially kicked off yesterday on Venus Beach, bringing international rock and metal to one of the most unique festival settings in Europe. Running through June 27, the festival transforms the Romanian seaside into a destination for fans of heavy music, with three days and nights of concerts between the sea and the lake.
Following a strong opening day featuring performances by Polystate, NoApology, Pestilence, Bucovina, Xandria and headliner Kamelot, the festival continues with two more days packed with internationally acclaimed artists spanning the full spectrum of rock and meta: from heavy, power and symphonic metal to thrash, death, folk and metalcore.
Friday, June 26
SEVEN SPIRES – A modern American symphonic metal band, Seven Spires blends grand orchestration, extreme metal passages and cinematic songwriting into a sound that is both powerful and unmistakably contemporary.
BULLET – Sweden’s Bullet delivers classic heavy metal at full speed, combining razor-sharp riffs, high energy and an uncompromising old-school attitude.
COMA – One of Romania’s most respected alternative metal bands, Coma is renowned for emotionally charged performances, powerful lyrics and explosive live shows.
ELVENKING – Veterans of the Italian folk and power metal scene, Elvenking combines driving guitar riffs with traditional instruments—including violin, flute and bouzouki—and lyrical themes inspired by European mythology and folklore.
ROTTING CHRIST – A true legend of the Greek extreme metal scene, Rotting Christ brings its hypnotic blend of black metal, ritualistic atmospheres and dark Mediterranean influences to the Odyssea stage.

METARUST – This alternative metal trio from the United Arab Emirates delivers a distinctive sound forged between Metallica’s intensity and the alternative edge of bands such as Tool and Faith No More, making them a rare and exciting addition to the European festival circuit.
MOONLIGHT HAZE – Fronted by Chiara Tricarico, also known for her work with Avantasia, the Italian symphonic power metal band combines sweeping orchestration, memorable melodies and a modern production that has earned them international recognition.
PRIMORDIAL – Deeply rooted in Celtic history and spirit, Ireland’s Primordial is celebrated for emotionally intense performances that merge pagan metal with powerful storytelling and atmosphere.
VIȚA DE VIE – One of Romania’s most iconic rock bands, Vița de Vie continues to captivate audiences with an energetic live show built on decades of experience and songs that have defined generations.
KORPIKLAANI – Finland’s masters of folk metal bring traditional instruments, infectious melodies and an unmistakable party atmosphere that turns every performance into a celebration.
SONATA ARCTICA – One of Finland’s most influential power metal bands, Sonata Arctica combines speed, melody and emotion in a dynamic live performance that has made them a festival favorite around the world.

Following a successful debut edition in 2025, Odyssea continues its mission of establishing Romania’s Black Sea coast as a destination for international rock and metal fans, combining world-class performances with a spectacular beachfront setting.
