Bucharest Gets into the Rhythm of Sziget 2026 with a Warm-Up Party on July 9 at J’ai Bistrot

On July 9, the atmosphere of Sziget Festival arrives in Bucharest through the Sziget Warm-Up Party, a silent party that will transform J’ai Bistrot into an extension of the Island of Freedom for one evening. Featuring music from the official Sziget 2026 lineup, competitions, and surprises for attendees, the Warm-Up Party brings the atmosphere of one of Europe’s most important festivals closer to Romanian audiences. Entry to the event is free.
Three DJs, three channels, and one lineup: Sziget 2026. Andreea Veder, Delia Teși, and Dorina Constantin will each bring a different selection of artists set to perform on the festival’s stages this summer, while participants will be able to switch playlists at any time with the push of a button.
Throughout the event, attendees will have the chance to take part in special competitions and giveaways offering Sziget 2026 tickets and festival passes, turning the evening into a preview of the experience awaiting them between August 11 and 15 on the Island of Freedom.
The Full Sziget 2026 Program
Sziget 2026 brings major names from across the musical spectrum to the Main Stage, including Twenty One Pilots, Florence + the Machine, Lewis Capaldi, Sombr, Bring Me the Horizon, and Zara Larsson. Joining them is a strong lineup of electronic and alternative artists, including Peggy Gou, Underworld, returning to the festival for the first time in more than 20 years, Richie Hawtin, Dom Dolla, Boys Noize, Sub Focus, Soulwax, Wolf Alice, Tash Sultana, Charlotte Cardin, Loyle Carner, Chet Faker, Biffy Clyro, Ashnikko, WhoMadeWho, and many more.
Already available through the official app and on the festival website, the schedule allows festivalgoers to plan each day of their experience while offering a comprehensive overview of the diverse program awaiting them in Budapest.
One of the most significant additions to this year’s edition is Jardin des Arts, an entirely new district dedicated to performing arts. It will bring together contemporary circus performances, dance, audiovisual arts, and multidisciplinary productions hosted in venues such as Le Grand Théâtre, MOBILIS, and Le Dome, an immersive concept combining theatre, visual arts, and technology.
The recently announced program also highlights the artistic diversity that defines Sziget. From stages dedicated to electronic music, alternative sounds, and world music to spaces devoted to performance art, theatre, and contemporary dance, the festival continues to maintain its reputation as a multidisciplinary cultural experience that extends far beyond the traditional music festival format.
Sziget further strengthens this identity with the return of Magic Mirror, one of the festival’s most iconic and beloved spaces. Over the years, Magic Mirror has become a symbol of freedom of expression, inclusion, and the celebration of diversity, bringing together artists, performers, and audiences from around the world.
