The Groovy Bastards announce the release of their new album on November 6!

KVLT is The Groovy Bastards’ second album and takes the stylistic mix that defines the project even further. From jazz, funk, and alternative rock to hip hop and progressive metal, the tracks take listeners on a dynamic rollercoaster (pun intended) of emotions and moods, as the album features the most cohesive sound in the band’s journey so far. It is the result of two years of intense work and collaborations with close friends, brought together by a small and dedicated team. Reflecting the band’s musical maturity, KVLT will undoubtedly remain an important milestone in The Groovy Bastards’ history.

The Groovy Bastards emerged on the Bucharest music scene in 2015, bringing an infectious energy and an eclectic combination of musical styles to the forefront. Featuring Ioana Vișinescu on vocals, Andrei Bălașa on guitar, Theo Ionescu on drums, and Șerban Mateescu on bass, the band has an unconventional sound that blends elements of funk, rock, progressive music, jazz, R&B, and hip hop. Their signature lies in their distinctive live performances, the colorful personalities of its members, and the fresh style they bring to their original compositions.

KVLT will be available on all streaming platforms starting November 6.

The album also features Andrada Crețu on electric piano and clavinet.
