Iubim 2 Roți returns from September 4 to 6 at Quantic for its ninth edition. The event brings together a community built around a passion for two wheels and live music: three days, two stages, and 15 artists.

Born from the desire to raise awareness of the presence of two wheeled vehicles in traffic, Iubim 2 Roți has grown with each edition into an urban festival built around live music, community, and respect among those who share the same road. In 2026, the 15 names on the lineup cover alternative rock, heavy metal, punk rock, blues, ska, and folk.

Friday, September 4

Kempes | Timpuri Noi | ZOB | ANTON | Bruma

Ovidiu Ioncu “Kempes,” former vocalist of Cargo, leads the project that bears his name, which made its recording debut in 2015 with the album “Regăsire.” Timpuri Noi, a band formed in the early 1980s, is one of the landmarks of Romanian alternative rock, while ZOB continues a punk rock history that began under this name in 1993, with albums such as “Telenovelas,” “Printre Nori,” “Deviant,” and the latest vinyl release, “Greatest Hits,” released this year. ANTON, the band founded by Ovidiu Anton in 2016, celebrates a decade of activity this year, following the release of the album “Brațe de fier” in 2025. Bruma returned in 2026 with melodic metal and progressive influences through the singles “Sentiment Divin” and “Zbor Pustiu.”

Saturday, September 5

Nightlosers | Ska NK | Sarmalele Reci | Sanctuar | Cristi Dumitrașcu

Founded in Cluj in 1994, Nightlosers combine American blues with elements of Transylvanian folklore on albums such as “Plum Brandy Blues,” “Rhythm & Bulz,” and “Cinste lor.” From Baia Mare, Ska NK have been developing a mix of ska, punk, and reggae since 2010. Active since 1993, Sarmalele Reci have built their identity around a blend of rock’n’roll, funk, jazz, and folk, supported by lyrics about everyday life. Sanctuar brings Timișoara heavy metal to the lineup, with albums such as “30 de vieți” and “Simfonia îngerilor,” while Cristi Dumitrașcu completes the program with folk rock and a solo discography consisting of four albums, three of them recorded with Circa Șapte.

Sunday, September 6

IRIS – Cristi Minculescu | Spitalul de Urgență | Altar | Folk Frate! | Țapinarii

At the heart of Sunday’s program is IRIS – Cristi Minculescu, with a repertoire that includes “Strada ta,” “Floare de Iris,” and “Somn bizar.” Spitalul de Urgență, the project led by Dan Helciug, combines rock with Romanian and Balkan traditional music and has become part of the public’s collective memory through songs such as “Trăiască berea.” Founded in Cluj Napoca in 1991, Altar combines metal and hardcore with socially conscious messages, from the album “Respect” to “Rapsodia Românească.” Folk Frate!, formed in 2006 following a musical meeting between friends, transformed folk music into a full band project and made its recording debut in 2015 with the album “…e mai bine așa!”. Țapinarii, the duo formed by Cosmin Covei and Adrian Tănase, celebrate 25 years of alternative folk and 11 released albums in 2026.

Public access begins at 5:00 PM. At the time of publication, one day tickets are available during the Early Bird period for 85 lei for Friday or Saturday and 100 lei for Sunday. The three day pass costs 270 lei during the Early Bird period. Once this category sells out, Presale tickets will cost 100 lei for Friday or Saturday and 120 lei for Sunday, while the three day pass will cost 290 lei.

Children aged 12 and under have free access when accompanied by a parent holding a valid ticket. The organizers recommend using hearing protection for young children.

Iubim 2 Roți – Ninth Edition takes place from September 4 to 6, 2026, at Quantic, Șoseaua Grozăvești nr. 82, Bucharest. The event is organized by Free Riders in collaboration with Quantic.
