Q FEST, the signature festival of the Quantic scene, returns for its 11th edition with seven consecutive days of live music. Taking place from 28 September to 4 October 2026, the festival brings together alternative rock, metal, punk rock, indie, electronic music and the many styles that have become part of Quantic’s identity.
Across seven days, Q FEST 2026 brings together established names from the Romanian music scene, emerging artists and international acts from across Europe. The lineup moves between punk, classic Romanian rock, alternative, indie, electronic music, progressive metal, black metal and death metal, creating a festival built around musical diversity.

Day 1 (28 September): Scandal, Llamando a Julia, Recycle Bin, Rawking
The festival opens with a night dedicated to punk and alternative sounds, bringing together four acts with distinct histories and approaches to the genre.
Formed in Bacău in 1998, Scandal are one of the longest running street punk bands in Romania. After building a strong reputation on the local scene, the band relocated to London in 2016. From there, they released On a Roll in 2018 through Spirit of the Street Records and Some Still Dance in 2024.
From Alicante, Spain, Llamando a Julia bring their energetic combination of ska punk and hardcore punk. Formed in 2009, the band combines ska rhythms with the intensity of hardcore and direct social commentary. Their releases include ¡Puño en Cara! and the Nuestra Querida España series.
Recycle Bin have been part of Romania’s underground punk scene since 2007. Their music combines punk rock, ska and hardcore influences. Their releases include Stupidity Tour, Pokemon and The Bastards, Cronicile din Retardia, Împărăția Mustelor and Pandemic Hits. In autumn 2026, the band is set to release its sixth studio album, Comoara din Sertarul Gol.
Also joining the opening day is Rawking, adding hardcore for a perfect opening night.
Day 2 (29 September): Celelalte Cuvinte, Conexiuni, Krypton Magica
The second day brings together three long standing names from Romanian rock, connecting different generations and traditions of the local scene.
Formed in Timișoara in December 1981 by Călin Pop, Marcel Breazu and Leontin Iovan, Celelalte Cuvinte have become one of the most enduring bands in Romanian rock. Songs such as Iarbă prin păr, STEM and Armaghedon remain part of the band’s identity, while their discography stretches from their 1987 debut on Electrecord to Lumea asta, released in 2022.
Conexiuni were founded in Brașov in 1983 by Marcel Boca, Florian Stoica and Victor Lenghel. Their repertoire includes songs such as Fosta iubire, Tu, Mai rămâi puțin and Viață de rocker. The current lineup continues the band’s musical direction while bringing its songs to new audiences.
Krypton Magica brings together two different chapters of Romanian rock and metal. The project combines Krypton, founded in 1982, with Magica, a power metal band with seven albums released through AFM Records. At the center of the project are Eugen Mihăescu of Krypton and vocalist Ana Mladinovici.
Day 3 (30 September): Dirty Shirt, Sur Austru, Aura Șova, Athoris
The third day moves between industrial metal, hardcore, Romanian folklore and alternative rock, with four acts representing different sides of the contemporary heavy music scene.
Coming from Maramureș and with more than 30 years of activity, Dirty Shirt combine industrial metal, hardcore, Romanian folklore, funk and electronic music. Their career includes albums such as Freak Show and Dirtylicious, as well as international appearances including Wacken Open Air Metal Battle.
Sur Austru explore atmospheric folk and black metal through progressive structures, traditional instruments and themes inspired by Romanian mythology. Formed in 2018 by musicians who were previously part of Negură Bunget, the band developed its own identity through releases including Meteahna Timpurilor, Obârșie and Datura Străhiarelor.
Aura Șova approaches Romanian imagery through voice, songwriting and contemporary music. After winning Vocea României in 2024, the artist released Drăgaica in 2025, drawing inspiration from Romanian traditions, characters and symbols.
Also performing on Day 3 is Athoris, adding another dimension to the evening’s heavy music lineup.
Day 4 (1 October): Om la lună, Adam’s Nest, Miau.wav
The fourth day focuses on three projects that approach songwriting from very different perspectives, moving between poetry, alternative rock, indie, shoegaze and electronic music.
Om la lună began in 2018 as Doru Pușcașu’s solo poetry and acoustic project. In 2019, Dragoș Strat, Cătălin Constantin and Adrian Maraloiu joined the project, transforming it into a full band. Their releases include Dans, În caz de om la lună…, Echilibru and the live album Fazele Lunii.
From Iași, Adam’s Nest emerged in 2017 and developed into a four piece project combining alternative rock, indie and shoegaze. Their releases include the 2018 debut EP, the 2020 album Irezistibil and Plecări, released in 2025.
Miau.wav is a Bucharest duo formed by Teddy and Mircea in 2022. Working independently from a studio created in a Berceni kitchen, the duo combines electronic dance music with influences from the 1990s and 2000s, disco, funk and R&B.
Day 5 (2 October): Vulture Industries, Sear Bliss, Wormgod, Khepra, Serement
The fifth day takes Q FEST into experimental and extreme territory with five bands from four countries and distinct approaches to heavy music.
From Bergen, Norway, Vulture Industries have spent more than two decades developing a combination of extreme metal, progressive, industrial and cinematic elements. Formed in 1998, the band has released five albums through Season of Mist, including Stranger Times in 2023.
Hungarian band Sear Bliss have been active since 1993 and have developed a distinctive form of atmospheric black metal. Their music combines traditional metal instrumentation with trombone, trumpet and synthesizer.
From Bucharest, Wormgod combine atmospheric black metal with death metal influences. Their album Where Old Curses Rest was released in 2022 through Void Wanderer Productions in partnership with War Productions. Wormgod made their live debut at the Spears of Wallachia festival at Quantic in 2024.
From Turkey, Khepra bring together symphonic and atmospheric death metal with elaborate orchestral arrangements. Active since 2014, the band released its debut album Cosmology Divine in 2016 and has shared stages with bands including Nile, Vader, Opeth, Abbath and Mayhem.
Completing the lineup are Serement from Athens, Greece. Formed in 2022, the band released the EP Deviation of God and the 2024 album Abhorrent Invocations. Their first live performances took place in Greece and Austria during 2025 and 2026.
Day 6 (3 October): Dora Gaitanovici, Fittonia, Missed Call, +SHE+
The sixth day focuses on the new generation of Romanian alternative music, bringing together four projects with very different approaches to contemporary songwriting.
Dora Gaitanovici is a singer, songwriter, multi instrumentalist and composer who first reached a wider audience through Vocea României and later through Cerbul de Aur. She was also a finalist in Romania’s Eurovision 2022 national selection with the song Ana. Together with her band, she has released the album Descântec and the EP Pas cu Pas.
Formed in Cluj Napoca in 2021, Fittonia combine melodic death metal with electronic music, pop, synth and post rock. The current lineup features Brândușa Brumbea on vocals, Daniel Moldovan and Joldiș Vlad on guitars, Cătălin Laslo on bass and Rareș Gălățean on drums.
Missed Call was founded in 2018 by Cosmin Gafițescu and Răzvan Nica. The band describes its sound as “fockop”, combining alternative pop rock with the atmosphere of a 1990s teenage film and late night cinema. Their releases include a self titled debut album in 2022 and a second album in 2026.
Also joining the Day 6 lineup is +SHE+, adding another contemporary voice to the evening.
Day 7 (4 October): Mayhem, Marduk
Q FEST 2026 concludes on 4 October with two major names from Scandinavian black metal, Mayhem and Marduk, presented as part of Death Over Europe Part II.
Formed in Oslo in 1984, Mayhem are closely associated with the origins and history of Norwegian black metal. Releases such as Deathcrush from 1987 and De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas from 1994 remain central to the genre’s history. The band continues to tour internationally and perform material spanning its long career.
Marduk were formed in Norrköping in 1990. Their early material focused heavily on satanic and occult themes, while the 1999 album Panzer Division Marduk established one of the band’s most recognizable approaches, combining fast and aggressive black metal with war themed lyrics and imagery.
On 4 October, Mayhem and Marduk will close Q FEST 2026 at Quantic as part of Death Over Europe Part II.
