Subvolt presents RESURFACE TOUR, the tour that brings Breathelast back to three Romanian cities after several years away from local club stages. The band returns closer to the underground scene with a series of concerts bringing together different sounds from Romania’s alternative and metal communities.
The tour includes stops in Cluj Napoca, Timișoara and Bucharest, with different local lineups at each show.
2 October: Breathelast, GRI, Elephant Skin @ Cluj-Napoca
The Cluj-Napoca edition takes place at Machines Venue, where Breathelast will be joined by local alternative metal band GRI and nu metal act Elephant Skin.
Breathelast have been part of the Romanian underground for many years, developing a sound that has moved through alternative metal, hardcore and nu metal. Their music has consistently avoided comfortable formulas, while their discography reflects the band’s evolution across different periods.
Their releases include the self titled Breathelast EP from 2013, the split release The Flood with Cap de Craniu, the Maluri EP released through Universal Music Romania, the 2018 album All Of This Amounts To Exactly Nothing, Until You Throw It All Away and their first full length album entirely in Romanian, Marea Ascunsă, released in 2025.
Founded in Cluj Napoca in 2021, GRI quickly established a presence on the Romanian alternative metal scene. The band was formed by musicians with previous experience in projects including FronT, Times of Need, Targ3t, Eat Your Heart and Skullp.
Their sound combines alternative rock, metal and grunge. GRI have shared stages with bands including Luna Amară, Coma, Implant pentru Refuz, Trooper and Imund.
Elephant Skin emerged from the local underground with a sound rooted in nu metal. Their music draws on the energy and groove associated with the early 2000s while developing its own approach through heavy riffs and forceful compositions.

The second stop of RESURFACE TOUR takes place in Timișoara at Nemesis Art Club, where Breathelast will share the stage with alternative rock band N.O.R.
From Oradea, N.O.R. have been active since 2012 and have established themselves within the Romanian rock scene through a consistent concert schedule and three studio albums.
The current lineup features Paul Halasz on vocals, Raul Oros and Eric David on guitars, Cristi “Copex” Copăcean on bass and Marius Budurean on drums.
Their discography includes Între Furtuni from 2015, Julia Set from 2019 and Valuri from 2023. N.O.R. will join Breathelast for the Timișoara date on 3 October and will also return for the Bucharest show in November.

The final stop of RESURFACE TOUR will take place in Bucharest at Encore, with Breathelast once again joined by N.O.R.
The Bucharest concert marks the third date of the tour and brings the two bands together for another night of alternative rock and metal.
