In the year marking 20 years of activity, Romanian band byron release “Euforia,” a new single about celebration, friendship, and looking back on a long journey without losing sight of the people who made it possible. The release marks the beginning of a series of events celebrating 20 years, or 7,305 days of music, exploration, and memorable encounters on stage. The band will then embark on a national anniversary tour visiting 12 cities across Romania. Tickets are available through the iabilet.ro network.

The new single, “Euforia,” shifts the focus away from the passing years and toward the simple joy of connection and the gratitude of having shared the same journey through two decades of music, with wine serving as a central element of the story. The song is available on all streaming platforms.

“‘Euforia’ is our way of celebrating the 20 years we’re marking this year, or 7,305 days, as we like to say. Essentially, it’s a song dedicated to wine, and for good reason: after two decades on this journey together, it felt only natural to raise a glass. Of course, wine on its own, without the friends gathered around it, is worth nothing. The same goes for these 20 years, which would mean nothing without the people who have stood by us throughout this time, and whom we want to thank,” says Dan Byron.

The anniversary tour will visit 12 cities across Romania, bringing an extended setlist to the stage that spans the band’s entire discography. Audiences can expect a show conceived as a sonic retrospective of byron’s 7,305 days, bringing together the songs that have defined the band’s journey over the past 20 years.

A special chapter of the tour is the Bucharest series, conceived as a four act concert experience across four different clubs, each dedicated to a distinct period in the band’s history. byron will revisit their 20 year discography in chronological order through four shows, each with its own theme and atmosphere tailored to the period: “Încefluturi,” “Idolescență,” “Matouring,” and “Dorigini.”

Over 20 years of activity, byron have released eight studio albums, created special filmed productions, and continually explored different concert formats, from electric performances on major festival stages to acoustic shows and collaborations with string quartets and symphony orchestras. In 2025, the albums “nouă” and “Eternal Return” were certified platinum, while the concert “Minunata lume nouă,” premiered at Sala Palatului alongside an orchestra of 54 musicians conducted by Simona Strungaru, became the band’s largest production to date.

Beyond the stage, after two decades in music, byron have chosen to give back to their community through projects that extend beyond traditional concerts. The band has created spaces dedicated to learning, reading, and attentive listening, from Biblioteca byron and the Book Club to Audioclub, where landmark albums are listened to in outstanding technical quality. These initiatives are joined by the Drum Club and Film Club, projects that bring people together and encourage direct dialogue with the band’s audience. In this way, byron have become an active cultural hub that continues to grow alongside the community around them.
