The Veils return to Bucharest for a concert featuring their new album

Anglo New Zealand band The Veils, known for their melancholic sound and the hypnotic atmosphere of their live performances, return to Bucharest this Friday, November 6, for a full band concert at Control Club. With a career spanning more than two decades, eight studio albums and a strong reputation on the international music scene, the band led by Finn Andrews will bring to Bucharest both established favourites from their catalogue and songs from their latest album, Fragile World, released this year.
The show will be opened by Oigăn.
The last tickets are available through the Eventbook network.
Fronted by Finn Andrews as vocalist and songwriter, The Veils create a sonic universe where dark themes meet vulnerability. Blending alternative rock and indie, the band’s songs transform fragility into intensity, while the energy of their live performances gives them an entirely distinctive dimension.
The Bucharest concert comes at an important moment for the band, which released its eighth studio album, Fragile World, in June 2026 on V2 Records. The new album marks a shift in tone and energy, retaining the band’s emotional depth while embracing spontaneity, intensity and a more instinctive musical approach.
Over a career spanning more than two decades, The Veils have established themselves as a band with an exceptional live presence, through regular touring and sold out shows across Europe, North America and Asia. Their music has also featured on the soundtracks of films by Paolo Sorrentino and Tim Burton, as well as in the TV series Twin Peaks (David Lynch, 2017).
From their debut album The Runaway Found (2004) to Fragile World (2026), The Veils have continually developed their musical identity, exploring the meeting points of tension, atmosphere and vocal expression. Finn Andrews’s performance, described by The Guardian as “refreshingly passionate”, remains one of the defining elements of the band’s sound.
On November 6, Bucharest audiences will have the chance to experience this combination of power, vulnerability and hypnotic intensity live, in a concert at Control featuring both established songs from the band’s catalogue and material from the new album Fragile World.
The The Veils + Oigăn concert in Bucharest is organised by Control Club, with the support of OneDay.
